I have created new venue on the X location, I have added beacons on the same location on the console. In mobile application while beacon detection it should update the current location of the device (beacon) on the database to identify the beacon location on the map, but from the mobile application locations of the beacons are not updated hence we are facing the issue with indoor navigation view on google map.

    Hello,

Looking at your second screenshot I suspect that you might have forgotten about georeferencing your map. It is mandatory to do it in order to be able to get geographical coordinates for the positioning. Please read the following article: https://github.com/Ubudu/Android-IndoorLocation-SDK/wiki/Georeferen...

Let me know if it helps.

I did it already as suggested but still having the same issue. It would be grateful if you can take remote of my system by team viewer so we can solve back and forth issue regarding this matter.

Check the attached file for reference.

Please let me know for any updates.

    Hello,

I know what is not right in your configuration. The thing is that you have to configure your map (place beacons, draw zones etc..) on a georeferenced version of the map. In order to do this you need to:

    • go to Venues & Indoor Maps
    • click on "# floor maps" of the particular venue
    • click on the details button of the particular Level you want to configure
    • Then switch to "Rectified map" (see attached screenshot)

    Then perform your map configuration.

Let me know if it solves your issues.

    Hello,
I did as suggested, I have attached screen shot and I could not figure out where the issue occur.

    1) go to Venues & Indoor Maps
    2) click on "# floor maps" of the particular venue
    3) click on the details button of the particular Level you want to configure

    I saw attached screen shot.

Now you have to click "Rectified map" button and configure the georeferenced map, not the flat one which screenshot you attached. The map that will appear after you click on "Rectified map" button is the one that is used for positioning.

The flat map does not support geographical coordinates at all.

I have clicked on "Rectified map" and set up geofenced map, still not getting map on screen.

Can you please tell what exactly remaining for this indoor navigation? Or else you can take remote of my system, it would be great.

    Best regards,

Ok It seems that everything is ok with back office map configuration. However you have not positioned any beacons yet.

Do you have problems with Android app integration now? What exactly do you want to achieve?

In order to start receiving location updates in your indoor location delegate please read this article:
    https://github.com/Ubudu/Android-IndoorLocation-SDK/wiki/How-to-use
In order to display the map tiles on google maps please read this article:

I am available on TeamViewer, my e-mail: [email blocked]
